Out of the mouth of TLC

Well, my surgery went well. I have a wonderful Dr. and the staff was STELLAR! (: It's the after I got home part that didn't work out so well. I am a major lightweight and couldn't handle all the meds, so I got super sick and started puking. Fun times.

TLC has an air mattress in my room so he can take care of me. My poor husband is sentenced to the couch for a few days. So, it's the middle of the night, I'm dying of pain, and vomiting. Ben says, "Wow, Mom! God sure is showing us a lesson here. Look how such a small part of the body still affects the entire body. That's how it is in life." I was impressed. It was such a clear visual for him. My foot is what had surgery, yet I was dizzy, sick to my stomach and had a headache. He was able to see that what we do affects more than just ourselves.

My husband and I were discussing how helpful he is. He was bringing me washcloths, cleaning out my vomit bowl, and bringing me everything I needed. He also saw that D-O (daddy o) was getting ready to leave for work and went and made him some coffee. He is always being Jesus for us. It's incredible.

Ok, I'm pooped. Back to bed for a few hours! But, I am a proud mama.
